If the program is recognized by PTCB, you shouldn't have a problem qualifying to sit for the exam. A list of approved programs can be found on the PTCB website. Look under: CREDENTIALS, then CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN and then scroll down to find the APPROVED PROGRAMS link. Once you're on that page, type "online" in the search box and it should populate all the approved online programs PTCB will accept. If you already have a certificate of completion from a program, put the name of your program in the search box and see if it populates. If it does, then it's an approved program and if not then you will need to call PTCB for more information.
