What do you do if your pharmacy knows a product is excluded from benefits? Do you find out what is covered and communicate that to the prescriber? Or just simply fax the rejection and assume the prescriber has the resources to identify what alternates are covered?

I know I've done both of those things. Most of the time it is very simple to find out what is covered, fax the Md and tell them. If you can't find it then just fax the rejection.
