At my current employer, I was in outpatient/specialty pharmacy - specializing in IVF treatment, oral chemo, hep-c, palliative care - Now based in a clinic. I assist in processing and overall reduction of prior authorizations - encouraging pre-prescribing benefit check for chronic disease management, monitor drug shortages, liaison between pharmacies and clinic. Its a role I am developing, so it is ever-changing.
