Which NIOSH list is needed for the Hazardous Drug exam? I see 2 versions (2016 and 2020) and they are very different from each other.

Where am I?

FYI- PTCB responded to my message and PTCB states that they use the 2016 version as of right now. The 2020 version is not yet fully finalized. Just in case others want to know which version to study from.

You don’t need to know the list per say because it is ever changing.
1. You will need to know what characteristics the drug has that categorize it as a HD.

2. You need to have an understanding of the groups and tables. Like what makes a drug group one or two.

Dont spend all your time focusing on the actual list, you just need to know how it works.

I agree completely with Ms. Dotson's answer.  It is not so much about what the lists contain, but just understanding what the nature of list is about and recognizing the different criteria that makeup the three different categories of the hazardous drugs themselves.
